PASS PLUS is a road safety
initiative aimed at improving the skills of novice drivers.
As a new driver, you are more likely to have a crash in your first
two years of driving than at any other time in your driving
career.
This is where PASS PLUS comes
in.
After you pass your test you can pay for structured
tuition from a registered PASS PLUS instructor.
The good news is that Ignition Tuition is
registered with Kent County Council who, as part of their road
safety initiative, offer grants up to £60 (funds permitting)
towards the cost of the Pass Plus course for pupils living in
Kent.
The main benefit of PASS PLUS is the discount on
insurance premium you'll receive from the companies supporting
the scheme if you reach the required standard.
Your driving will improve too as you experience
driving situations not covered by the standard test.
Examples include night driving, motorway
driving, understanding and controlling skids.
There's no test - you just complete 6 modules
and are assessed as you go.
